My name is Lola and like my gray face, I shine! I'm 11 years young with a lot of pep in my step! Can you believe that I was recently surrendered to the SPCA? I really don't know what I did to deserve that but, hey, I'm not looking back....only forward and I know there are wonderful things ahead for me!
Yes, I'm a distinguished older girl but I prefer to call myself 'seasoned'! Anyway, haven't you heard.....11 is the new 6 but age is just a number anyway! They say that I'm super sweet, very affectionate, well behaved and very people friendly! My foster mom says that I love to go for walks and romp around the nature trail near her home! I prefer not to share my home with other animals.....I love to have all attention revolve around me! Now kids are a different story.....I will do fine in a home with older, dog-friendly kids! I know basic commands like 'sit' and 'shake', love to play and I love car rides! Oh....and not only am I house broken, I've already mastered using the doggy door in my foster home.
My foster mom says that I'm a well mannered, delightful girl! She says my little nub (tail) only stops wagging while I'm asleep! I'm affectionate and inquisitive! I'd say my perfect home is with someone looking for a special companion.....lots of cuddles on the couch and a sweet gray face that will always light up when you come home!
