Buck appears to be a Boxer mix... maybe with Mastiff?? Not sure, but he's a big boy! Even skinny, he's a big boy! He's young, happy and strong; but, he's also sweet, gentle and affectionate. Although a little headstrong he is a gentle lamb! There doesn't appear to be a mean bone in his body. He loves other dogs and he ADORES people. He was tested with cats, and he truly didn't seem interested beyond simple curiosity. One thing he does NOT love is being confined to any small space. He wants to be free to move about the house and to interact with any other living beings! Buck does not dig nor does he bark unnecessarily. He is good on leash, but he'd rather be running and chasing around the backyard with the other dogs in the foster home. He finds the picnic table a great place to sun himself. Buck needs a truly committed family. He will require bit more in every respect (financially, space, time ) than a small dog; BUT, he will also give back more than you can imagine in Love, Devotion and Joy. He has been wormed, fully vaccinated, neutered and we are keeping him heartworm free by giving him regular heartworm preventative. What a fantastic dog! Everyone loves Buck! Apply today!
