Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

"Hey there, Boo Boo!" That's what my brother, Yogi, likes to say to me at least a hundred times a day. Obviously we are siblings, and we are inseparable, so we asked LSBR to make sure we get adopted together. Since I'm the girl, I get to talk, so I'll tell you all about us. Yogi is a handsome brindle boy who is smart enough to let me boss him around. He's full of energy and likes to play a lot, but, typical guy, he poops out in the evening and likes to settle down with a bone. He has a cute, goofy grin that makes me love him all the more! We're both about two years old. I'm a beautiful fawn girl, and although I can be a little shy with strangers, I'm very sweet and very affectionate. And yes, I am a little bossy broad with Yogi, but that's OK. He loves me. I like to play, play, play, but I also like snuggling on my comfy bed with toys. Yogi and I hope and pray that you have room in your hearts for both of us. Just look at us - how could you even think about tearing us apart! We're awesome together, and we will bring such joy to your family.
