Paw Boxer Fun Print Paw
of the week!

I'm Ben, and I am so happy to finally be safe and cared for now! In spite of being homeless most of my four years, I am a really easy-going guy, and very sweet. I'm also quite good on a leash.

Hi, I'm Corinn.
Corinn

Meet Corinn

I know you are looking at me and thinking that I'm in pretty bad shape. And you would be very close to being right. My name is Corinn, and I have been so desperate to find some help. Well, "help" has arrived in the form of Lone Star Boxer Rescue! They are making sure that my sarcoptic mange is taken care of, along with the painful, itchy infection I have on my skin and in my ears. I broke one of my legs, and since no one was taking care of me, I had to let it heal on its own. Not fun. Believe me, my sagging spirit could use a little boost, but I'm so optimistic that my life is making a change for the better! On the plus side, I'm really a sweet girl, and very pretty, and I love other dogs. I'm putting all of my trust in LSBR, and I hope I also can count on you to help turn my life around. If you can help sponsor my medical bills, I'll get better faster - and then I'll be ready to find a home of my own and start my new life! Thank you! Read more about Corinn...

 Fosters, we desperately need you!

The number of boxers that LSBR can save depends on the number of volunteers willing to foster.

Becoming a foster parent takes dedication, love and a firm commitment to helping your foster dog be the best it can be. When you foster, you will be providing food, care and a loving home - all of which contribute to an ideal environment in which the dog can thrive and improve. As a foster, part of your responsibilities will be to crate train, teach basic commands, and nurture the dog so that it can become more adoptable. By accomplishing the above tasks, you will significantly increase the chances of that dog finding a forever home!

LSBR can't tell you in advance how long you will have a foster; it might be for a few days, or it might be for several months. But the wonderful feeling you get when your foster dog finds its forever home is something you will never forget. It's well worth the effort.

We have several volunteers willing to help you introduce your foster dog into your home. They are available at any time to answer any questions or address concerns you may have. All that we ask from you is a commitment of dedication to your foster dog.

You can help us save more dogs than ever before if you will sign up now.

Please help us help them! Our dogs need you! And so do we.

Thank you!
